Our client is one of the reputed operations in real estate property valuation business operations in residential commercial properties. They are complete solutions to provide real estate valuation services in Dubai, and they are looking for Head of Valuation & Advisory who will be responsible for promoting the business in order to generate an increase in revenue in relation to targets determined by the Line Manager whilst at all times maintaining an exceptional customer service experience.
In this role your duties /responsibilities will be :
Attend appointments for suitably qualified customers, inspecting and measuring property
Develop and implement Valuations Department strategy in line with company objectives.
Ensure the Valuations Team maintain a high quality of work according to RICS RedBook and Valuation Guidelines.
Present the high level of customer service expected of Company Valuer\'s and offices, to all Clients;
Develop and improve valuation processes and procedures in line with RICS guidelines, company objectives and client needs.
Ensure workloads are managed, deadlines, delivery of service, duties and priorities of staff and Department are maintained.
Develop, review and implement viable fee structures to ensure profitability.
Advise the Administration Coordinator in preparation and submission of proposals according to the relevant fee structures.
Review and sign off client reports to ensure quality control.
Ensure correct document management in conjunction with the Administration Coordinator.
Constantly review Department Profit & Loss Statements to track progress in meeting financial targets.
Identify and implement new tools and IT resources to increase efficiency and enhance client satisfaction.
Conduct fortnightly team meetings.
Mentor and coach Property Valuations team to improve technical and professional knowledge.
Support employees on their path to attaining associated professional memberships/RICS certification or equivalent professional certifications.
Conduct business development activities and liaise with clients to gain new business and retain existing clients. Maintaining regular contact with vendors.
Provide referrals, and leads to other departments;
Devising and revising strategies to maximize sales opportunities;
Ensuring effective communication with other divisions to maximize business opportunities
Work in collaboration with the Human Resources Department about recruitment, employee induction, creation and maintenance of job descriptions, leave management,performance appraisals and disciplinary matters.
Coordinate with the Finance Department to ensure all financial transactions are completed on time and in line with company procedures.
Maintain Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in line with RICS requirements.
Deputize for the Managing Partners in their absence
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must fulfill the below criteria:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in real estate or land administration.
Full member of RICS.
Advance knowledge of the RICS Code of Conduct and RICS International Property Measurement Standards (IPMS).
Advanced knowledge of valuation methodology
Knowledge of key principles of international accounting standards related to valuation of financial instruments
Strong numeric and analytical skills with extensive excel experience
Exceptional communication and administration skills, along with a passion to help people move.
Excellent ability to build internal relationships at all levels of the business.
Intermediate to Advanced level MS Office skills.
Proactive and self-motivated \xe2\x80\x93 keen to add value to the team.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a high performing team.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Experience
Minimum 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Valuations / conducting market appraisals.
Experience leading a team.
UAE experience preferred but not essential.
