Contribute to achieving department objectives through overseeing all daily operational processes in the unit, and providing development and improvement proposals in line with best professional practices and work requirements. Review and evaluate staff performance while ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, systems, and relevant guidelines and laws in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities
Supervisory Tasks:
- Oversee the unit's resources (human, financial, technical, intellectual) efficiently to achieve department goals.
- Contribute to developing annual operational plans and ensure alignment with media policy requirements.
- Contribute to preparing project plans and monitoring their execution.
- Determine training needs and prioritize staff development areas.
- Supervise implementation of operational plans and ensure alignment with approved policies.
- Support sustainability and continuous performance improvement plans.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations and development proposals.
Administrative Tasks:
- Contribute to developing strategic policies and procedures aligned with unit requirements.
- Supervise implementation and ensure staff compliance.
- Develop human resource development plans and performance improvement proposals.
Executive Tasks:
- Prepare and oversee operational and developmental plans related to the unit.
- Prepare periodic reports on performance and needed support for the section head.
- Recommend and implement development initiatives to improve operations.
Additional Tasks:
- Review and formulate media content, including direction on translated materials.
- Conduct language editing and proofreading.
- Verify information accuracy and compliance with policies.
- Provide best practice guidance in news writing and suggest enhancements.
- Prepare periodic reports on text quality and identify improvement areas.
- Develop content policies and ensure alignment with program and news requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized academic institution in the UAE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
