Job Description
The overall objective of the job: Develop work plans and mechanisms for applying a unified system and standards for statistics, and general supervision of all work related to the development of a national system for the national statistical system to combat money laundering, terrorism financing, and proliferation financing, and supervise the preparation of various types of statistical reports and analyses required to support decision-making. Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the preparation of a proposal for the strategic and operational plan for the department, develop operational indicators for work, and work to achieve them.
- Monitoring administrative processes such as planning, budget preparation, reports, and service delivery, oversight, evaluation, and improvement.
- Leading, directing, reviewing and approving policies, procedures, methods of work, performance indicators, and quality of the department\'s operations, and developing the necessary proposals to improve work and submitting them to senior management for approval and action according to them.
- Supervise the implementation of everything that would increase the efficiency of achievement, including the development of work methods and methods, the development and training of employees, motivate them, and spread team spirit among them.
- Periodic follow-up of the performance indicators of the department, reviewing achievement rates, evaluating the performance of the department\'s employees, and participating in preparing the annual report for the department and submitting it to senior management.
- Providing the necessary support to the line manager, and performing any other tasks assigned to him.
- Follow-up the implementation of all work related to collecting and analyzing data related to money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing at the national level.
- Following up on updating a reference database of statistics related to countering money laundering, financing terrorism and financing proliferation at the state level.
- Supervising the preparation and application of unified system and standards for statistics and the collection of statistical data at the executive office level, and setting appropriate procedures and systems to ensure their accuracy and validity.
- Establishing and developing a national system for the national statistical system to combat money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing, supported by artificial intelligence systems, in coordination with the concerned authorities.
- To supervise the process of collecting comprehensive statistical data from all concerned parties of all kinds, auditing, tabulating and classifying them, and checking their validity.
- Cooperate with the various concerned bodies and authorities in the country to ensure that the database is updated with information and data related to combating money laundering, financing terrorism and financing proliferation.
- Supervising the provision of decision makers and concerned authorities with the data they need, according to the nature and quality of the data, the degree of confidentiality, and others.
- National and international coordination and cooperation in matters related to national statistics and data related to combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing.
- Participation in various events, workshops, meetings and working papers related to combating money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing.
- Supervising the preparation and issuance of the annual statistical report, publishing it to the concerned authorities, and preparing reports for international organizations, the Financial Action Group and other institutions.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Statistics, Business Administration, or equivalent in a similar field or a master\'s degree in statistics, business administration, or equivalent in a similar field Or a PhD in Statistics, Business Administration, or equivalent in a similar discipline.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with (8) years of experience in the same field, or a master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with (4) years of experience in the same field, or a PhD with (2) years of experience
