POSITION
HEAD OF SERVICE F&B
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Head Of Service manages all aspects of providing exceptional Food & Beverage experiences to the family and guests. The Head Of Service is responsible for all service and dining areas, and all resources that aid in producing quality experiences and quality outcomes in the food and beverage department., including managing the flow between kitchen and dining
QUALIFICATIONS /CERTIFICATION /LICENSES

Certification from a recognised Butler School \xef\x82\xb7
Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or Psychology \xef\x82\xb7

Level 2 \xe2\x80\x93 Allergy Awareness \xef\x82\xb7
Level 2 \xe2\x80\x93 HACCP \xef\x82\xb7

5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working as a butler at a senior level in a 5* establishment. \xef\x82\xb7
Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service
KEY SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE \xef\x82\xb7
Knowledge in all Arts of Service, particularly Arabic Meze \xef\x82\xb7
Advanced food /culinary knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 able to understand and explain menus and dishes, and prepare the dining area accordingly. \xef\x82\xb7
Knowledge in beverages \xe2\x80\x93 coffees, teas, juices, mocktails \xef\x82\xb7
Advanced pantry management knowledge. \xef\x82\xb7
Capable of building and maintaining inventories. \xef\x82\xb7
Great attention to detail and creativity \xef\x82\xb7
Exceptional organizing skills \xef\x82\xb7
Exceptional teamwork, communication and collaboration skills \xef\x82\xb7
Leadership capabilities \xe2\x80\x93 able to motivate, lead and upskill a team. \xef\x82\xb7
In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleanliness and hygiene
\xef\x82\xb7 Adheres to and ensures team adheres to food safety policies, procedures and practices. \xef\x82\xb7
Advanced MS office skills \xe2\x80\x93 word, excel, outlook, ppt.
