Head of Direct Sales
We are seeking an experienced Head of Direct Sales to lead a high-performing commercial team and drive revenue growth across a large digital media network. The ideal candidate is both a strategic leader and a strong hands-on salesperson with a proven track record in media sales.
Salary: 30-32k plus bonus
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the direct sales team to deliver consistent revenue growth.
Manage key client relationships, handle senior-level negotiations, and personally close major deals.
Set team KPIs, oversee performance reviews, and maintain a high-performance culture.
Build and execute industry engagement strategies across major verticals.
Develop new business pipelines through structured outbound prospecting and networking.
Review and manage the sales pipeline to ensure accurate forecasting and improved yield.
Identify underperforming assets and execute plans to enhance revenue.
Align with marketing on lead-generation initiatives and creation of sales materials.
Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for corrective action.
Drive continuous training, development, and skill enhancement within the sales team.
