Our client is an export B2B Trading company that has expanded their operations in Dubai and is hiring a Sales Director/Head of Sales. This is a key leadership role; they will be responsible for leading the promotion and growth of commercial activity. This will in turn generate revenue and lead to sustainable growth across all avenues.
Responsibilities:
Manage and Develop distributor and retailer relationship at all levels and functions to achieve the agreed upon business targets.
Find solutions to issues that arise within the supply chain.
Maintain & cultivate relationships with both new and existing customers.
Research business development opportunities within defined parameters that include industry, region, and other business factors.
Expand our client base by introducing products & services, highlighting the benefits of the partnership.
Service and grow current accounts by offering new products, building brands, and looking at account specific drivers.
Resolve concerns by developing solutions and investigating issues.
Manage a team of Sales Managers which involves the following:
Train and educate the team on the market they are overseeing.
Monitor that they are meeting sales targets by forecasting and creating a plan of action for their teams. Looking at areas that are not meeting target to analyze causes and makes changes as needed.
Mentor and create career pathing within the company.
Create reporting that will be shown to both internal and external customers showing various metrics to manage the business.
Adapt and evolve the company strategy as needed, being the subject matter expert on the specified market.
Requirements:
Minimum of 13 years\' experience in FMCG Sales & commercial operations as a must
Able to manage, inspire and motivate a team of Sales professionals.
Bachelor\'s degree in business or other like discipline, master\'s degree a plus.
Fluent in both English and Arabic
Ideal age between 35-45 years old
Already based in the UAE
Strong communication skills at all levels of an organization.
Prior experience working with both multinational and distributor environments. Ideally worked within the import/export and trading industry.
Ability to multitask, maintain solid organization and time management skills.
Effectively take feedback and be able to adapt to change in a fast-paced organization.
