We are seeking a skilled Head of Project - Data Center with specialized experience in managing data center / hyperscale data center projects.

Head of Project - Data Center will oversee all facets of data center / hyperscale data center projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined scope, budget, and schedule. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, vendors, and contractors is integral to implementing and maintaining cutting-edge data center facilities.

This role requires the person who has project management, communication, customer relationship, and analytical skills, as well as knowledge of data center construction, financing, and operations is essential. Additionally, this position requires collaboration with internal teams such as development, facilities operations, legal, capital markets, hyperscale solutions engineers, and sellers to successfully deliver on project requirements, including successfully project financing.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery for data center / hyperscale data center projects within the company, collaborating with design, permitting, procurement, and construction technical.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the company\'s clients (new and existing) and project teams.
• Oversee the project basis of design and localization process, conduct peer reviews and quality checks in accordance with client and company standards.
• Host and participate in meetings with clients and external stakeholders.
• Manage and cultivate the data center / hyperscale data center design team, fostering a sense of camaraderie, collective ownership, and collaboration.
• Establish and manage a process to detect, track, and resolve scope changes, errors, or inconsistencies throughout the design process.
• Proactively manage and communicate changes throughout the project to both internal teams and clients.
• Manage project costs, risk, communications, procurement, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates and resolve outstanding issues with all stakeholders.
• Develop technical and financial proposals for new and add/move/change of data center / hyperscale data center design projects.
• Provide full project management duties to the company\'s clients, oversee the preparation of project administration documents, including design status updates, action item/risk tracker, minute of meeting, and quality reports.
• Tackle all projects with a notable level of flexibility and creativity, excellent presentation skills, and an ability to communicate effectively with both clients and consultants.
• Plan, oversee, and lead/supervise operations for projects of moderate size with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impact.
• Lead technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools.
• May involve managing small teams across business lines, in remote locations, and/or managing subcontractors.
• Manage projects on a local to regional basis, achieving quality outcomes, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
• Develop strategy, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute projects successfully.
• Ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Overall responsibility and management of the project, including budgeting / schedule stages, procurement, through contract closeout.
• Primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between the client for the assigned project.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in Management level with relevant working experience in data center / hyperscale data center design management & engineering and/or project management, real estate development, transaction management, data center infrastructure (space, power, connectivity), or equivalent experience in a construction environment.
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in large-scale data center projects.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including networking, hardware, and software components.
• Having experience in project/program management, proficient in MS Project and/or other project tracking software.
• Possession of Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and Uptime Institute Accredited Tier Professional certification would be advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills required to ensure successful project delivery.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic, time-sensitive situations with minimal oversight.
• Excellent English communication skills (written/oral).
