The Role

Head of Primary - Qatar (Competitive Salary & Benefits) We are representing a well-established British International School in Doha, Qatar, seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Primary to join their leadership team in January 2026 (or sooner) for the 2025-2026 academic year. The school delivers the British Curriculum to a diverse community of local and international students, and is looking for an outstanding leader who can inspire excellence, drive school improvement, and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across the Secondary phase. The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for: - Leading and managing all aspects of the Primary School (Key Stages 1-2). - Providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement. - Supporting and developing staff, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture. - Working closely with the senior leadership team to shape the school's vision and strategic goals. - Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents, ensuring an exceptional educational experience for all. Requirements

Candidate Requirements - A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent). - A degree in Education or a related subject; a Master's in Educational Leadership is highly desirable, but not essential. - Proven leadership experience at Head of Department, Deputy Head, or Head of Primary level within a British curriculum school. - Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. - A passion for high-quality education and a commitment to continuous improvement. - Adaptability and cultural sensitivity, with the ability to thrive in an international environment.
