Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Head of Primary is responsible for providing strategic leadership, management, and development of the Primary School (Early Years to Key Stage 2). This role ensures high-quality teaching and learning, fosters a positive and inclusive school culture, and upholds the school's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management

Provide visionary leadership to the Primary School, ensuring alignment with the school's ethos and strategic goals.
Lead, motivate, and support teaching and support staff to achieve excellence in education.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Primary School, including timetabling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Implement and monitor school policies, ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

2. Teaching & Learning

Promote outstanding teaching and learning practices, ensuring high academic standards.
Monitor and evaluate curriculum delivery, ensuring it meets the needs of all students.
Foster innovation in pedagogy, including the integration of technology and best practices.
Ensure effective assessment and reporting systems are in place to track student progress.

3. Pastoral Care & Student Wellbeing

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all students.
Oversee pastoral care programs, promoting students' social, emotional, and behavioral development.
Address student welfare concerns in collaboration with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
