AP Executive are working with a fast-moving crypto start-up to hire a dynamic Head of OTC. The business has a variety of products and enjoys a very strong financial backing. The founders and CEO are very high profile and you will be working with a passionate team of crypto natives. The business has a strong footprint across the GCC region and is now in a strong position to go through a period of fast growth.
The Role
We're looking for a Head of OTC to take ownership of the growth and development of the desk. You'll own the entire OTC function -- client relationships, execution, risk, and growth. This isn't a legacy finance role -- you'll be hands-on from day one, building the desk, shaping the product, and driving revenue in a fastest-evolving corner of crypto.
What You'll Do

• Run and scale the OTC desk: quoting, pricing, and executing block trades with speed and discretion
• Build + maintain strong relationships with funds, institutions, and whales across the space
• Create and refine risk + execution frameworks that scale with the business
• Partner with product + engineering to build tools that make trading frictionless
• Spot market opportunities and expand our liquidity network globally

You will be

• A proven business developer in the crypto space with a strong track record of successfully growing a desk in the OTC space
• Well-networked across institutions, funds, family offices, and crypto-native players
• A builder: comfortable operating with low bureaucracy, high autonomy, and real ownership
• Someone who thrives on fast-moving markets, big deals, and solving liquidity puzzles
• Sharp communicator + negotiator, able to build trust in high-stakes situations
• Hungry to scale a start-up from early stage to category leader
