Job Description

To lead learning, curriculum, people, and resources across the Middle and High School (Grades 6-12), fostering exceptional student outcomes, teacher performance, and school growth.

Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership of Learning

Promote a learning-first culture, aligned with Diyar's definition of "Incredible Learning." Conduct regular classroom observations and provide actionable feedback. Support high-quality teaching practices through coaching and reflection. Ensure behavior and classroom climate support learning.

2. Student Learning & Progress

Monitor progress using MAP, CAT4, and internal assessments. Use data to identify and address learning concerns. Ensure consistent use of tracking tools like Learning Ladders. Celebrate learning growth and success.

3. Curriculum & Pedagogy

Oversee implementation of US and New Generation Standards in alignment with IPC/IGCSE/Advanced pathways. Support subject leaders in maintaining rigorous, inclusive, and adaptive curricula. Ensure effective teaching strategies, including literacy and numeracy frameworks, are applied across subjects.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Lead on school self-evaluation and contribute to school improvement plans. Prepare Middle & High section for inspection readiness and reporting. Monitor teacher performance, professional development, and appraisal cycles.

5. Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong partnerships with parents and students. Lead admissions support and promote the school to prospective families. Handle parental concerns and communication professionally and constructively.

6. Operational Management

Ensure smooth day-to-day operations to support learning. Maintain safe, organized, and learning-enhancing spaces. Uphold all Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Education (Master's in Educational Leadership preferred) 3-5 years of leadership experience, in Middle & High school ideally in UAE context Strong understanding of Middle & High School learning needs Experience with US curriculum preferred Proven skills in team leadership, data use, and parent engagement Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities Positive, reflective, and growth-oriented mindset
