Our Client

A international IT solutions provider with operations across 40 markets worldwide, have a newly created opportunity to hire a Head of M&A .

Your Responsibilities

• Person responsible for M&A evaluates an organization's opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures. Oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk. He/she develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability. Collaborates with key stakeholders, participate in negotiations.
• End to End Mergers & Acquisitions execution
• Evaluates opportunities for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures:

o Initiates the preliminary groundwork for potential deals

o Engages with Investment Bankers and consultants

o Analyses industry prospects by gathering information about growth, competitors, and market share possibilities.

o Review company fundamentals and financial statements.

• Oversees M&A project management processes including

o Due diligence together with a DD consultant

o Manage and evaluate all data, ensure accuracy and recommend appropriate solutions

o Financial planning

o Scoping

o Handling legal and regulatory processes (with the help of consultants)

o Closing

• Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk.
• Actively be a part of capital raising discussions
• Integration:

o Administer business objectives and monitor implementation of all businesses.

o Monitor and implement post-merger integration and define appropriate scope and objectives for same.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any other related field.
• Experience: A candidate for this position must have had at least 5 years in working experience in an M&A capacity within a fast-paced, highly competitive, and dynamic environment (as a preference one of the large M&A consultant companies).
• The candidate should be able to demonstrate an in-depth operational and valuation financial modelling experience and an ability to generate new business through the exploitation of existent relationships as well as the development of new relationships.
• Candidate should have a history of deals that he/she has been able to transact on behalf of an organization.
• Prior experience in handling multi-country M&A for a reasonably large company
• Good connect with Investment Bankers
• Experience in VC funding or Angel investments or managing Incubation Fund are added advantage
• Analytical Skills: This position requires having a passion for research and analysis, being highly skilled in efficiently analysing large data quantities and driving financial modelling and due diligence. He / She should be able to process raw information and data, translating this into actionable insights for informed decision-making.
• Communication Skills: Communication skills, both in written and verbal form, are an essential skill for this position.
• Interpersonal Skills: Flexible, open, and welcoming to change, have an ability to work in a constantly evolving environment, have an executive presence, have a positive can-do attitude, be self-motivated and proactive, and have an ability to work comfortably with collaborative personnel and senior business executives and stakeholders.
