Head of Legal, Banking, Dubai CLIENT: This is an extremely rare opportunity to join a leading bank, as a divisional Head of Legal. They have ambitious growth plans for 2023 onwards and the time is right for them to expand their legal capability with a new senior hire into their Dubai office. ROLE: Sitting as a divisional head, and reporting up to an established General Counsel, you\xe2\x80\x99ll take a lead on all core transactional finance work across the bank. You will also oversee international litigation matters. CANDIDATE: There are some key criteria to be taken into consideration:
- You\xe2\x80\x99ll need at least 15+ years of post-qualified experience.
- It\xe2\x80\x99s essential that you have worked within an international law firm, or international banking environment, and ideally both.
- Core skills will be institutional banking, across loans, refinancing, capital markets, and a wide range of other finance (project, aviation, commodities).
- You need not be based in the Middle East right now, but regional exposure will be helpful.
- Arabic language skills are not needed, but will be highly valued.
