Job Overview
The Head of Investment Products will lead a high-impact team responsible for the full lifecycle of private banking investment solutions-from product design and regulatory governance to global distribution and client engagement. This includes structured products, mutual funds, UCITS platforms, in-house funds, wealth solutions, and advisory content tailored to high-net-worth clients in key global markets.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the Global Private Banking investment product strategy
• Manage a cross-functional team delivering innovative, multijurisdictional investment solutions
• Oversee the full lifecycle of products: sourcing, development, governance, and performance monitoring
• Direct the creation and execution of the Investment Products Calendar in alignment with business goals
• Launch and manage in-house funds and structured products, including capital-guaranteed and non-principal protected offerings
• Lead all activities related to the FAB UCITS platform, including board governance and compliance with FINMA and other regulatory authorities
• Spearhead the investment product universe (Focus List), setting risk methodology and third-party inclusion standards
• Oversee vendor relationships for external investment products, trust services, and real estate partners
• Chair and manage key governance forums: Investment Committee, Investment Products Steering Committee, and Asset Allocation Committee
• Drive client engagement through product briefings, webinars, and strategic market insights
• Represent FAB at international forums and regulatory panels on investment banking and wealth strategy
• Lead debt issuance and IPO processes for private banking clients, including structuring and client subscription
• Support the development of regional investment strategies for MENA, Asia, Europe, and the Islamic finance space
• Lead digital content development and positioning of FAB's private banking investment offerings online
• Manage restructuring, mergers, or closures of funds across jurisdictions when required
• Establish and oversee the Credit Advisory framework in collaboration with senior management and risk teams
• Support special client situations involving portfolio restructuring and bespoke investment needs

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 18 years of experience in finance, wealth management, investment banking, or asset management
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Marketing, or related discipline (Liberal Arts accepted if paired with relevant experience)
• Proven track record in product sourcing, structuring, development, and global wealth strategy
• Expertise in a wide range of asset classes: mutual funds, structured products, LP-GP funds, discretionary mandates
• Deep knowledge of multijurisdictional investment regulations, UCITS governance, and global compliance frameworks
• Excellent project leadership, communication, and strategic planning capabilities
• Experience managing regulatory relationships across Swiss, UAE, European, and Asian markets
• Ability to lead high-level internal and external discussions and represent FAB in global investment forums
