Due to fast growth and launching new projects, we are looking for a

Head of Internal Audit

to join our team in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the full internal audit function across all departments and business units. Develop and implement a risk-based audit strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, financial accuracy, and compliance with policies and regulations. Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies; provide actionable recommendations to senior management. Ensure compliance with UAE laws, international standards, and corporate policies. Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and presentations for top management and the Board. Collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Operations, and Project Management teams. Manage and mentor internal audit staff, supporting continuous improvement and professional development. Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely implementation of recommendations. Support development of risk management frameworks and internal control improvements.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CIA preferred). Minimum 7-10 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 3 years in a managerial or head-level role. Strong understanding of audit methodologies, internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management. Experience in real estate development, construction, or investment companies is highly preferred. Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills. Strong communication and reporting abilities, with confidence in presenting to senior management. High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professionalism.
