About the job Head of Finance
A leading asset management and real estate group is seeking an experienced Head of Finance with a strong background in real estate finance and asset management. The company manages both its own properties and those of external clients, while land development and construction projects are typically executed through external contractors and consultancies.
This role will focus specifically on the asset management, leasing, and rental businesses within the group. The Head of Finance will oversee financial operations, reporting, and governance in these areas, ensuring strategic alignment and operational excellence across a portfolio of 43 companies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the finance function for the groups asset management, leasing, and rental businesses.
Consolidate financials and provide insights to the Board and Directors.
Drive financial strategy, risk management, and governance across entities.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and IFRS-compliant reporting.
Manage funding strategies, capital structure, and banking relationships.
Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and financial regulations.
Lead a team of 45 direct reports and 15 indirect reports, building capability and driving performance.
Requirements
Bachelors in Finance/Accounting (MBA/Masters preferred).
Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent).
12+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years in real estate/asset management.
Strong expertise in property finance, leasing operations, and multi-entity consolidations.
In-depth knowledge of UAE financial laws, VAT, and compliance.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing large teams.
