Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Fertilizer Trader to join a dynamic and growing international agricultural trading firm. This role offers the opportunity to manage and expand a global portfolio, working across physical and derivative markets in key fertilizer products. The ideal candidate will have strong market knowledge, a proven track record in trading, and an extensive industry network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, develop, and execute physical and derivative fertilizer trades across global markets.
- Manage and expand relationships with producers, distributors, and end-users across key regions.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply/demand dynamics to identify trading opportunities.
- Work closely with logistics, risk, and finance teams to ensure efficient trade execution and risk management.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with counterparties.
- Maintain P&L responsibility, ensuring profitability and strategic market positioning.
