Our client is an award-winning technology provider specializing in high profile corporate events ranging from sports, music and lifestyle. With an impressive portfolio of celebrity clients and exclusive events, they are changing the way we experience live events and exhibitions.
We are currently recruiting an experienced mid-level manager to lead the lighting division to create and manage all aspects of lighting for live events and shows.

We are currently recruiting an experienced mid-level manager to lead the lighting division to create and manage all aspects of lighting for live events and shows.
Role Summary
- Work with sales and project teams to plan, design and execute lighting solutions for all live events.
- Support the sales team on RFPs and proposals and project team on technical submissions including drawings and calculations.
- Build and test prototypes and proofs-of-concept.
- Manage and train the lighting operations team and freelances to deliver consistently high quality solutions that exceed clients\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and result in organic revenue growth and referrals.
- Instill a safety culture within the team for safe working practices.
- Develop SOPs to improve planning, execution, efficiency and profitability of the lighting division.
- 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 mid-level experience in managing an events lighting design and operations team.; managing resources and budgets.
- Deep knowledge of weight load calculations and power distribution related to lighting and AV; basic rigging
- Proficient use of Vectorworks.
- UAE driving license is mandatory.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates \xe2\x80\x93 must be able to live and work in Dubai.
- Fluent in English.
- Natural self-starter with professional interpersonal, communication, presentation and leadership skills.
