Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

Head of Engineering

to lead and oversee the full engineering function for our steel fabrication and erection projects. The role involves managing design, detailing, and technical coordination, while ensuring all engineering deliverables are accurate, efficient, and aligned with project requirements. The position requires a strong leader with proven expertise in engineering software and the ability to bridge design with practical execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the engineering team, including design engineers, detailers, and coordinators. Review and approve designs, drawings, and models before release to production and site. Ensure engineering deliverables are practical for fabrication, welding, transport, and erection. Coordinate with clients, consultants, production, and project teams to resolve technical queries. Plan and monitor engineering deliverables in line with project schedules. Implement effective workflows, drawing control, and revision management. Drive continuous improvement to enhance accuracy, speed, and efficiency of outputs.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering. 10+ years' experience in structural steel engineering and project execution. Strong proficiency in

STAAD Pro and other structural design software

. Working knowledge of

Tekla Structures

for detailing and model coordination. Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
