Ajyal American School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Primary to lead our elementary division (Grade1 to 5). The ideal candidate will have a proven record of instructional leadership, curriculum development, and staff management within an American or international school context.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead teaching and learning aligned with the American Common Core and UAE Ministry curriculum
Oversee staff performance, professional development, and student wellbeing
Ensure compliance with ADEK standards and support inspection readiness
Foster a positive, inclusive school culture and strong parent partnerships
Requirements:
Master's degree in Education or Leadership.
8+ years of teaching experience, 3+ years in school leadership
Strong knowledge of American curriculum and UAE education standards
