About the ClientOur client, a reputable financial institution in the UAE, is seeking a Head of Credit Middle Office to lead the centralised credit analysis and transaction support team within their wholesale banking division.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the credit middle office team, including credit analysts and support staff.Ensure credit proposals are accurate, compliant, and delivered within agreed timelines.Oversee customer query management, transaction follow-ups, and complaint resolution.Standardize credit documentation, reporting, and operational procedures across all teams.Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to improve process efficiency and client service.Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and report regularly to senior management.Coach and develop the team to enhance technical expertise and service quality.
Key RequirementsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline.10+ years of banking experience, with strong exposure to corporate or wholesale banking credit functions.Proven leadership experience managing credit or middle office teams.Solid understanding of credit analysis, corporate lending, and risk management.Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills.
