Job Responsibilities:
The purpose is to strengthen audiences' understanding of and support for TCS.
Design and create policy position papers on critical issues that articulate the TCS point of view and highlight the footprint and contribution of TCS in the region, both through its many customers and in its own right.
Design and execute public affairs campaigns which project TCS' policy positions, enhancing its reputation with key audiences, principally in the political, bureaucratic, and diplomatic environment.
Deepen and institutionalize TCS' standing and relationships within the opinion-leader and political communities in the region at all levels. This will be achieved both through direct contact and relationship-building; as well as through TCS' memberships.
You will establish a positive regulatory environment for TCS operations in the region both reactively and more importantly on a proactive basis.
Your work will also involve analysing and monitoring key policy issues, and sharing perspectives within the organization, including CXO briefings as and when required.
Manage memberships in trade bodies and relationships with thinktanks.
Recommend and supervise support resources.
Represent TCS at relevant public platforms, articulating our views.
Job Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of experience in Government or Public Affairs senior role.
Deep, demonstrable understanding of political structures and operations in the Midde East is essential.
Ability to lead and supervise support resources, staff or external agencies.
Proactive mindset with a can-do attitude.
Strong advocacy skills.
Excellent communicator - oral and written.
Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and flexible team-oriented approach to working with others.
This role is Riyadh, Dubai or Qatar based (1 person will handle this function for these 3 locations work location can be UAE or KSA) , but you should expect some travel as part of the role within a global organization.
Native fluency in Arabic.
