Position Overview:



The

Head of Compliance

will lead and oversee the company's global compliance strategy, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions, with a focus on the United States, the Middle East, and other key international markets.

This individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's compliance culture, particularly around mobile app operations, data protection, B2B partnerships, financial integrity, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. and international compliance frameworks, including data privacy (GDPR, CCPA), consumer protection, anti-bribery, KYC/AML, and technology governance.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and Lead Global Compliance Framework: Establish and manage a comprehensive compliance strategy that aligns with international regulations and business objectives. Regulatory Oversight (U.S. & Global): Ensure adherence to U.S. federal and state regulations, including FTC, FCC, and data protection laws, as well as international compliance obligations (GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, etc.). Mobile App Compliance: Oversee compliance requirements related to app stores (Apple, Google Play), data storage, user consent mechanisms, and third-party integrations. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks associated with B2B contracts, partnerships, and platform operations. Data Privacy & Security: Implement global privacy frameworks and coordinate with data protection officers to ensure secure handling of customer and partner data. Corporate Governance: Support the Board and executive leadership in maintaining transparency, ethical conduct, and regulatory accountability. Training & Culture: Build a culture of compliance through employee training, internal audits, and proactive risk awareness programs. Liaison with Regulators: Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory authorities, legal counsel, and auditors in the U.S. and other jurisdictions. Monitoring & Reporting: Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor compliance performance, reporting regularly to senior leadership and the board.

Qualifications and Experience



Education: Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's or JD preferred). Certified Compliance Professional (CCEP, ICA, or equivalent) preferred. Experience: Minimum 10+ years of compliance experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Proven experience in mobile app or digital platform compliance within a B2B or SaaS environment. Strong understanding of U.S. regulatory environments, including data protection, consumer protection, and financial regulations. Experience managing compliance for global operations (Europe, Middle East, North America). Skills: Excellent knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and U.S. privacy and consumer laws. Strong grasp of technology and data security practices. Strategic thinker with ability to balance compliance and business goals. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
