As Head of Community, you will be serving a critical role that drives innovative community strategies and brings to life vibrant initiatives like ambassador programs, interactive forums, competitions, social media campaigns, and more. This is a deeply cross-org position that closely collaborates with senior marketing, product, engineering, developer relations, and research teams to align the business community with the pulse of the project. You will also have the opportunity to lead AMAs, workshops, hackathons, Twitter/X spaces, participate in live events, and have an integral role in cultivating the culture of the company's community. Some travel may be required.
Essential Qualifications and Experiences
- 4+ years of experience as a community leader in crypto/Web3.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
- Deeply embedded in crypto culture; fluent in its narratives and evolving ecosystem.
- Proven ability to build and scale communities, ambassador programs, and engagement
campaigns.
- Strong grasp of blockchain technology and decentralised systems.
- Demonstrated success growing and nurturing large, engaged communities.
- Skilled in community platforms, social tools, and data-driven engagement strategies.
- Strategic thinker and planner, with creative problem-solving abilities and a bias for
action.
- Empathetic and curious leader who motivates teams and builds resilient, growth-driven
cultures.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute creative strategies to drive community growth and engagement.
- Attract and activate strategic supporters to grow the company's community with intentionality.
- Lead end-to-end community initiatives: ambassador programs, forums, campaigns, and events.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, and Research teams to ensure a cohesive community strategy.
- Organize and host community AMAs, webinars, and workshops to enhance engagement and brand visibility.
- Monitor and analyse community sentiment, trends, and feedback to inform product and marketing strategies.
- Lead crisis management and conflict resolution within the community.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of community ambassadors, setting clear goals and metrics.
