We are seeking an individual to lead PR and communications, working closely with the CEO. The role is based in the UAE.
- Create and implement a communications strategy to enhance the brand. Develop an annual plan, KPIs and a calendar of events
- Centralize media relations and identify media content requirements
- Identify and evaluate promotional opportunities for the company
- Oversee communications across print and online media. Maintain and enhance the corporate website
- Build strong and effective relationships with the media
- Lead and develop the internal communications materials including employee handbooks, annual and sustainability reports
- Manager service providers including PR agencies
- Manage and develop the communications team budget
- Build strong relationships with internal departments and manage their communications needs proactively.
- Work closely with the CEO on company communications objectives.
- Experience of the UAE media environment and excellent media relationships
- Fluent Arabic is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
- Ability to think strategically and provide sound advice to executive leadership
- Highly commercial
