Job Description

1. Job Purpose


The Head of Sales & Business Development is responsible for driving the organization's sales performance through strategic planning, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will develop and implement sales strategies, identify market opportunities, build strong client relationships, and lead the sales team to achieve revenue and growth objectives.

2. Key Responsibilities


Develop sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets and company's revenue goals. Implement sales plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market realities. Conduct market research to understand competitors, trends, and customer needs. Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive advantage. Identify and evaluate growth opportunities in existing and emerging markets. Collaborate with marketing to align sales strategies with promotional and branding activities. Work with product development to ensure sales strategies align with business objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs and develop tailored solutions for maximum satisfaction and retention. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance targets. Foster a high-performance, results-oriented sales culture. Provide coaching, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance the skills and performance of the sales team.

3. Qualifications & Skills


Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred. Work Experience: 15+ years of experience in sales strategy, business development, or related functions. Skills: Proven track record of achieving sales targets in competitive markets. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and motivating sales teams.

4. Job Complexity/Judgment


Ability to achieve assigned business revenue targets. Ability to carry out work in accordance with the SLA agreement with clients. Ability to satisfy internal and external customers.

Internal: Stakeholders. External: Clients.
