Overview



We are seeking a highly experienced

Head of Business Development

to lead and manage the Sales & Marketing team. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build key partnerships, and increase market share. This role involves developing and executing long-term business strategies, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and ensuring the alignment of team goals with company objectives. The Head of Business Development will also be responsible for managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, conducting market analysis, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

Set and implement company sales and business development strategies.

Team Management:

Directly oversee the Sales & Marketing team, including sales managers, marketing professionals, and staff.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with department leads from Production, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service on client projects and proposals.

Client Satisfaction:

Ensure high client satisfaction on each service/project and address issues raised by customers.

Overseas Representation:

Appoint and manage agents in overseas markets to represent the company as part of the sales strategy.

Safety and Compliance:

Ensure that safety protocols and industry regulations are incorporated into business strategies, client proposals, and contracts.

Performance Tracking:

Mentor and motivate the sales team, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to the Managing Director on business progress.

Financial Support:

Support the Finance team with payment collection and ensure the sales team meets forecasted targets.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Experience:

7-10 years of experience in business development or leadership within the marine industry, including team management and strategic growth.

Leadership Skills:

Strong leadership skills to manage, motivate, and align the Sales & Marketing team with company goals.

Negotiation Skills:

Proficiency in negotiating contracts and securing profitable business deals while maintaining strong client relationships.

Market Analysis:

Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies effectively.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communication skills for presenting to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.

Industry Knowledge:

Deep understanding of the

marine sector, including shipping, offshore services, and regulatory requirements.*

Pay: AED40,000.00 - AED60,000.00 per month
