Job Brief:

Our client is currently looking for a candidate who is in the taxation, audit, and accounting industry. The objective of the role is to head and ensure the timely functioning of the company\'s engagements. The ideal candidate should be a team player who manages and guides the operations of the team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Oversee day-to-day operations, assign weekly performance goals to the sales and operations team, and ensure their completion.

- Lead, manage, motivate, develop, and appraise staff so that their individual and collective performance is of the required standard and meets the current and future needs of the business.

- Recommend changes to policies, systems, processes, and working practices in order to achieve operational improvements.

- Proactively manage and track the portfolio of clients while reporting to the Company Directors.

- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities for new/existing clients.

- Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections for the clients.

- Provide support with various tax audits and special tax-related projects.

- Consultation and advisory services related to Economic Substance Regulations, (ESR) and Anti Money Laundering (AML).

- Manage the Audit assignments, including verifying/testing internal controls, defining audit issues/control gaps, reviewing and analyzing evidence, documenting audit findings, and finalizing audits and recommendations to ensure the highest levels of quality and transparency.

- Compile and present detailed monthly, and quarterly reports for Senior Management perusal and act as the focal point in preparing year-end reports.

- Manage and supervise the execution of external audit engagements of various clients.

- Represent clients before Tax authorities.

- Administer the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum 6 - 7 years of experience in auditing or accounting, of which at least 3 years are in a managerial role.

- Ability to bring in business and clients to the company.

- Must hold a Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or another closely related field.

- CA certification or equivalent is required.

- Strong project management, leadership skills, and decision-making ability.

- Manage a team of 30+ employees.

- Proven ability to develop and achieve financial plans.

- Age: Below 40 years of age.

- Male candidates are preferred for the role.

- Has worked and understood the advisory services for Economic Substance Regulations, (ESR) and Anti Money Laundering (AML).
