Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead our finance and accounting function. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting, compliance, and team leadership. This role will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial management, compliance with statutory requirements, and providing strategic insights to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records.
Prepare, review, and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and statutory accounting standards.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Controls
Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Implement strong internal controls and risk management frameworks.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against targets.
Compliance & Audit
Ensure compliance with all tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
Oversee GST, VAT, TDS, corporate tax, and other statutory filings.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and mentor the accounts and finance team, ensuring high performance.
Establish accounting policies, systems, and procedures for efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives.
Requirements
Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory.
Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, taxation, and compliance.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory frameworks.
Experience in leading a team and managing end-to-end accounts functions.
Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Tally, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
