Creating new menus or updating existing dishes.
Budgeting, planning, food purchasing, and inventory management.
Promote a climate of positive work culture and motivate the workers as and when required.
Set and maintain a very high standard of food quality in preparation and execution.
Adhere to and enforce company policies and statutory requirements with regards to health and safety, sanitation, and fire procedures.
Must be able to multitask in a high-volume environment while always appearing calm and collected.
Be willing to undertake additional duties and responsibilities of work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Prior 20 years of experience in working as a Head Chef with a reputed restaurant, cruise, or similar organization.
Professional degree in hotel management, culinary science, or similar certification.
Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS).
Trained in health and safety standards.
