Key Responsibilities:
Plan, create, and update the cafe's menu with innovative and appealing dishes.
Supervise all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Ensure high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene.
Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and cost control.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and teamwork.
Maintain compliance with food safety and health regulations.
Work closely with management to introduce seasonal specials and new ideas.
Ensure minimal food waste and maintain portion control.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Head Chef
or
Sous Chef
, preferably in a cafe or casual dining setup.
Strong knowledge of international and cafe-style cuisine (healthy meals, sandwiches, juices, etc.).
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
