Job Description

We are seeking a creative and experienced Head chef to lead our kitchen team for a health and wellness concept restaurant. The ideal candidate needs to be an innovative and a highly organized leader with a passion for culinary. You will be responsible for overseeing all culinary and kitchen operations to deliver a high-quality dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Menu creation- Develop and implement seasonal menus, including recipes, presentation and costings while adhering to the health and wellness concept Kitchen Management- Oversee daily BOH operations and ensuing a cost- effective kitchen Team Leadership- Supervise, train and mentor all kitchen staff. Quality Control- guarantee the highest standards of food quality Inventory and Cost control- manage inventory and ordering of ingredients, optimize the supplier relationships, monitor food and labour costs to ensure that budgetary measures are met. Health and Safety- Enforce strict compliance with all local health, safety and sanitation regulations, including Dubai Municipality. Administration- Handle tasks such as scheduling, attendance records and performance reviews

Qualifications and Skills

Proven experience as a head chef or Sous chef Diploma or technical trade in the culinary field Culinary Knowledge- Advanced knowledge of the culinary arts including techniques, flavour, profiles and international cuisine, encompassing the health and wellness concept Leadership- Exceptional leadership, communication and team management skills Business Acumen- Strong financial literacy for costings, recipes and inventory Creativity- A creative and seasonal development of health conscience menus
