Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Develop new menu items and seasonal specials in coordination with management.
Ensure consistency and quality in taste, presentation, and portion control.
Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff; assign tasks and shifts.
Monitor stock levels and order ingredients and supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, complying with health and safety standards.
Manage kitchen budget and control food costs and waste.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Creativity in menu design and presentation.
Leadership skills and the ability to manage and inspire a team.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
