We are looking for a Head Chef excited by authenticity, creativity, and the chance to craft a uniquely Mediterranean culinary destination within Dubai Marina.
A modern yacht-club inspired restaurant is taking shape in the heart of Dubai Marina-where skyline, sea, and lifestyle meet. Inspired by the hidden coastal gems and legendary yacht clubs of the Mediterranean, the venue blends timeless maritime elegance with Dubai's energy and curiosity.
Our culinary vision is a true Mediterranean journey, rooted in the regional traditions of iconic yacht clubs from Monaco to Sardinia to the Tuscan coast. The menu celebrates authentic coastal dishes-some rarely seen in Dubai-alongside approachable, contemporary favorites tailored to the Marina's diverse audience.
Signature regional specialties include:

• Bouillabaisse - Marseille tradition
• Fideua - Valencia
• Psarosoupa - Greek Islands
• Capon Magro - Genoa
• Zarzuela de Mariscos - Barcelona

These sit alongside lighter classics and modern interpretations, creating a balanced menu that feels both distinctive and accessible. Every dish carries a story, drawing from maritime culture and the spirit of exclusive Mediterranean yacht clubs.

InterContinental Dubai Marina is a Five Star luxury hotel & residence in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five-star presence.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
As Head Chef, you will shape the culinary soul of our modern Mediterranean yacht-club restaurant in Dubai Marina. Your leadership will bring authenticity, refinement, and coastal storytelling to every plate, creating a dining experience that feels exclusive yet warm and contemporary.
Culinary Vision & Menu Creation
Craft and evolve a distinctive Mediterranean menu-balancing regional heritage dishes with approachable favourites-while championing seasonality, clarity, and coastal authenticity.
Oversee all kitchen operations
Ensuring flawless execution, consistent quality, and impeccable presentation-while upholding the highest hygiene and safety standards. Lead culinary delivery for the signature restaurant, Gin Bar, in-room dining, poolside offerings, and premium events and conference services.
Team Leadership & Culture
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a strong brigade, fostering a collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented kitchen environment.
Financial Stewardship
Manage budgets, control food costs, optimize suppliers, and drive efficient production and waste reduction without compromising quality.
Guest Connection & Experience
Work closely with the front-of-house team, engage with guests, and elevate every service into a memorable, story-driven Mediterranean dining moment.
Ideally, you'll have some or all the following qualifications and experience we're looking for:

• Degree or certificate in culinary arts
• 5 years' experience as a chef
• International work experience with a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine and concept development.
