We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for menu development, food quality, kitchen leadership, cost control, and maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, creativity, and deep knowledge of international and regional cuisines.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations across all service periods
Plan, develop, and update menus and recipes to ensure consistency and quality
Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff and junior chefs
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP compliant)
Monitor food costs, portion control, and stock management
Handle vendor coordination and ingredient sourcing
Ensure timely, smooth kitchen service during peak hours
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, equipment care, and organization
Conduct regular quality checks on food presentation and taste
Support food concept development and new outlet openings (if required)
Requirements
? Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant, cafe, or cloud kitchen
? Experience working in the UAE or GCC is preferred
? Strong leadership and staff management skills
? Knowledge of international, Middle Eastern, and modern cafe cuisines (Breakfast & Brunch experience is a plus)
? Cost control, menu engineering, and inventory management expertise
? HACCP certification or sound knowledge of food safety standards
? Ability to work under pressure and handle large service volumes
