HEAD CHEF - ABU DHABI
We are currently seeking a specialist Head Chef for a restaurant specialising in Levantine cuisine. The Head Chef will bea culinary expert who directs all kitchen operations, specializing in the diverse and authentic flavors of the Levant region. This role requires a blend of management skills and deep culinary knowledge to ensure authenticity, quality, and creativity.

A bit about the role:

• Lead the entire kitchen team, including the daily preparation, live service, and kitchen administration. This involves assigning tasks, creating a work roster, and managing staff issues.
• Create, develop, and maintain authentic and innovative menus that showcase the rich culinary heritage of the Levant, including hot and cold mezze, grilled meats, pastries, and desserts.
• Ensure consistency in the taste, presentation, and quality of all dishes. The head chef is the final authority for approving all prepared food before it is served.
• Implement cost-control strategies by monitoring food waste, managing inventory, and liaising with suppliers for quality ingredients at affordable prices.
• Enforce strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
• Staff management and training

What we are looking for:

• Culinary expert in Levantine cuisine - proven expertise
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Head Chef
• Strong leadership abilities to motivate and direct a kitchen team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for Levantine food and an innovative mindset for menu and dish development.
