Key Responsibilities:
Lead the kitchen team and manage daily kitchen operations
Prepare and oversee the cooking of a wide variety of
traditional Arabic dishes
Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
Supervise kitchen staff and train junior chefs and assistants
Manage food cost, inventory, and kitchen supplies
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene (HACCP compliance)
Innovate and develop new menu items based on seasonal ingredients
Coordinate with management to meet customer expectations and business goals
Requirements:
Minimum
5 years of experience in Arabic cuisine
, including
UAE-based restaurant experience
Proven track record as a
Head Chef
or
Senior Chef
Excellent leadership and kitchen management skills
Strong understanding of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen efficiency
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations (HACCP certification is a plus)
Good communication skills in English or Arabic
