Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the butchery section, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Select, cut, trim, and prepare various types of meats as per customer and kitchen requirements.
Ensure proper storage, handling, and hygiene standards are met at all times.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste.
Train and supervise junior butchers and kitchen staff.
Develop new meat products and ensure consistency in portioning and presentation.
Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a
Head Butcher
or
Butchery Chef
.
Strong knowledge of different meat cuts, aging, and preparation techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a team.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
Excellent knife skills and precision in meat cutting.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
