Head Baker

in their Food Production Unit located at DIC, Dubai

Job Purpose:

The Head Baker is a leadership role in a bakery or culinary establishment, responsible for overseeing and managing the baking department. Their primary purpose is to lead a team of bakers in producing high-quality baked goods, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring consistent taste, texture, and presentation of all bakery items. The Head Baker plays a crucial role in upholding the bakery's reputation for excellence and in driving its success.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Managing the staff of baker, including training, timing, scheduling, and supervising them.

2. Creating new recipes for all types of breads.

3. Measuring ingredients to create recipes and ensure that they are consistent each time they are made.

4. Communicating with other members of the section to ensure that orders and quantity are delivered on time and the production report done correctly.

5. Maintaining clean work areas and equipment to prevent contamination and spoilage of food products.

6. Testing new recipes to improve taste or texture.

7. Report on all equipment problems and maintenance issues.

8. Guide and motivate bakery to work more efficiently.

9. Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc.

10. Serves as role model to demonstrate appropriate behavior.

11. Able to develop or create new ideas and items for bakery section.

12. Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Require applicant with professional experience from Hospitality with exposure of Artisan Bakery, sourdough. Starter, poolish dough bread
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
