Overview
GMG is seeking a skilled and dedicated
HVAC Technician
to join our Facilities Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across our facilities. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and a strong commitment to ensuring the optimal performance and energy efficiency of all climate control systems.Key Responsibilities
Maintenance and Operations:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance (PPM) on all types of HVAC equipment, including
refrigeration systems
,split AC units
,Package AC units
, andChillers
. Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults inVRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow)
andchilled water systems
. Execute major component replacements, includingcompressor replacements
for various units. Monitor, maintain, and troubleshootchilled water pumps
and associated piping systems. Perform basicwater treatment
procedures and monitoring for closed-loop chilled water systems and cooling towers. Conduct technical inspections and ensure all HVAC operations comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Technical and System Expertise:
Utilize technical documentation, schematics, and testing equipment to efficiently identify and resolve system malfunctions.
