Roles & Responsibilities

Engaged on a per-job basis to service, repair, and install residential/light-commercial air-conditioning systems to defined quality, safety, and turnaround SLAs. Coordinates closely with dispatch for work orders, documentation, and customer updates.

Key Responsibilities

Attend assigned work orders for split, cassette, window, package units and (if experienced) VRF/VRV. Diagnose faults (electrical/mechanical/refrigerant), propose solution and obtain approval before work. Perform repairs: capacitor/contactors, fan motors, PCB swaps, leak detection & rectification, brazing, vacuuming, gas charging, commissioning. Execute preventive maintenance: filter cleaning, coil washing, drain clearing, electrical/mechanical checks, performance testing. Basic installs/re-installs, thermostat and control wiring, insulation touch-ups, minor duct fixes. Handle refrigerants safely; recover, weigh, and charge per manufacturer specs. Record job details in CRM (before/after photos, readings, parts used, customer sign-off). Maintain HSE: PPE use, lock-out/tag-out where required, work-at-height precautions, tidy work area. Communicate clearly with dispatch/clients; escalate scope changes or parts requirements promptly. Protect client property and comply with building/community rules and permits.
Minimum Requirements

2-5 years hands-on AC/HVAC servicing experience (homes/light commercial). Strong troubleshooting of electrical controls, motors, contactors, compressors, refrigerant cycle. Competent with manifold gauges, vacuum pump, recovery machine, clamp meter/multimeter, leak detector, brazing set. Ability to read nameplates, basic wiring diagrams, and follow checklists. Basic English for notes and client updates (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu a plus). Smartphone for CRM, navigation, and photo documentation. Valid UAE driving license preferred; ability to travel between emirates.
Education & Certifications

ITI/Diploma in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning (or equivalent trade certificate). Refrigerant handling/AC technician certification preferred.
