Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Haute Couture Production Manager to oversee the end-to-end production of custom luxury dresses. Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight

Manage the complete lifecycle of each haute couture dress--from client order to final delivery. Review design sketches, client measurements, and specifications to plan production steps. Translate design concepts into technical instructions for pattern makers, cutters, and tailors.
Technical Expertise

Oversee dress fittings and ensure all adjustments meet couture standards. Evaluate fabric choices, cuts, draping techniques, and garment construction methods. Perform quality checks at every production stage to ensure flawless finishing.
Team Leadership

Supervise and coordinate the work of pattern makers, cutters, seamstresses, and embellishment artisans. Provide guidance on complex couture techniques and problem-solve technical issues. Ensure all team members adhere to production timelines and quality expectations.
Workflow & Planning

Create production schedules and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of each garment. Track the progress of each dress and maintain detailed production documentation. Coordinate fittings with clients and communicate required adjustments to the team.
Resource & Inventory Management

Oversee fabric and material sourcing to ensure availability for each order. Manage inventory of couture materials such as lace, embroidery, trims, and specialty fabrics. Recommend new techniques, materials, or technologies to enhance production quality.
Client & Designer Collaboration

Work closely with designers to interpret their creative vision accurately. Collaborate with client-facing staff to ensure accurate translation of client requests. Provide expert guidance on feasibility, timelines, and craftsmanship.
Qualifications

Proven experience in haute couture production or luxury garment manufacturing. Strong understanding of couture dressmaking techniques, cuts, fittings, and alterations. Ability to manage multiple custom orders simultaneously. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship excellence. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Preferred Skills
