Job Description

We are seeking a Hardware Designer (UAE national only) to contribute to the development of a Combat System. The Hardware Design Engineer will design and develop electrical components and subsystems necessary for integrating various sensors and payloads into the combat management system network. The Hardware Design Engineer will support system architecture analysis, trade studies, and participate in associated engineering reviews to develop H/W and S/W requirement documents and test plans. Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with Software Engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration with hardware components.

Custom circuit design, component selection and prototype hardware debug and builds.

Concept to production delivery support including design, debug, test, and qualification

Develop Engineering Design Fixes, and Coordinate Solutions

Strong record keeping skills with commitment to tracking design changes, debug status, H/W and S/W revisions.

Requirements

Bachelor\'s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience.

Ability to use Engineering Development and Test Tools.

Digital and Analog design including power and thermal analysis.

Schematic development, component selection, circuit simulation, and PCB layout

Microprocessor based products and Single Board Form Factors: Intel, AMD, ARM, VPX, VME

Embedded Microcontroller H/W and programming skills (C, C++, Visual Studio)

Industry standard interfaces and products (PCIe, DDRxx, USB, SATA, RS422/485, MIL-1553, Ethernet, CAN, NMEA2000, Solid State Drives)

Graphics/video interfaces (HDMI, DisplayPort, HD-SDI, RS-170, LVDS)

FPGA Design and Simulation

EMI/EMC, High Speed Signal Integrity design practices
