Job Description

A Building Handyman performs general maintenance, repairs, and installations in commercial or residential buildings, handling tasks like minor plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and fixture assembly. They inspect facilities to identify issues, conduct routine maintenance, and manage repairs on building systems and equipment to ensure buildings are safe, clean, and in good working order. Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repairs:

Conduct routine maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.

Repairs & Installations:

Repair and replace fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, and furniture.

Facility Inspections:

Perform regular inspections to identify any maintenance needs or potential problems.

General DIY & Decorating:

Handle tasks like painting, tiling, and minor carpentry, according to Skills Provision's description.

Assembly:

Assemble and install various items, such as shelving, cabinets, and other fixtures.

Troubleshooting:

Diagnose faults and problems with equipment and building systems.

Inventory Management:

Keep track of repair supplies, equipment, and ensure stock is replenished.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed.
