Job Description

We are in need of a Hairdresser who is knowledgeable with a variety of hair care services to clients including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments.

Location: JBC, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

Discussing client needs, preferences, and recommending suitable hairstyles, colours, and treatments based on hair type and facial features. Performing haircuts, trims, layers, and various styling techniques like blowouts, curls, braids, and updos. Applying hair colour, highlights, ombre, balayage, and providing other hair treatments. Shampooing, conditioning, and providing scalp treatments to prepare hair for styling. Recommending and selling hair care products, styling tools, and accessories to clients. Maintaining a clean and organized work station and sterilizing tools. Providing excellent customer service, building rapport with clients, and ensuring their satisfaction. Keeping up with the latest hair trends, techniques, and products. Scheduling appointments and managing client records. Self-Hygiene is most important
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in various haircutting, styling, and colouring techniques. Ability to effectively communicate with clients, understand their needs, and provide recommendations. Building rapport with clients, making them feel comfortable, and creating a positive salon experience. The ability to visualize and create desired hairstyles and colour looks. Understanding different hair types and textures, and how to work with them. Ability to manage appointments, handle payments, and potentially upsell products and services. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. A cosmetology license or completion of a hairdressing program is often required, according to career and job sites.
