Job Description
Hair stylists are beauty service professionals who specialize in the fashioning and treatment of hair. Hair stylist are responsible for styling, consultations and recommending hair styling products, among other duties. Additionally, hairstylists need to be expert "people persons" to attract and retain long term customers. This requires good interpersonal and conversational skills. Your duties include:

- Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival and confer with clients to understand their hairdressing needs.
- Provide clients with information on what to expect during the hairdressing and styling process.
- Strong time management to finish the service on time.
- Always following SBL SOP.
- Cross-sell retail products and additional treatments, when appropriate.
- Provide clients with information on prices and timeframes of each treatment and any package deals that they can benefit from.
- Sweep the floor after each haircut
- Clean mirrors on a daily basis
- Disinfect hair styling equipment after each treatment
- Ensure all areas are clean and equipment is sterilized before use.
- Prepare and clean station & other cleaning task assignment in-between appointments.
- Follow up with their clients for booking future appointments & renewing packages.
- Ensure no misuse/wastage of products is done.
- Check their stock, and inform manager if additional stock is required.
- Achieve individual and salon targets for the day/month.
- Always be well groomed.
- Follow/Implement all the trainings received in SBL.
- Increase Client retention
- Ensure client consent forms are filled before service.
- Counsel clients on how they should groom their hair and even provide hairstyling tips that they can follow at home.
