- Consulting with clients on stylistic options for their hair.
- Listening to clients\' needs to determine their preferences.
- Describing different hair care products and their benefits.
- Shampooing, cutting, coloring and highlighting hair.
- Performing scalp treatments.
- Block, shape, and trim wigs and extensions according to each client\xe2\x80\x99s specific instructions.
- Color and treat hair according to specific instructions provided by clients Skills and Personal Characteristics:
- good listening ability to interpret client`s requests
- the ability to work quickly and accurately with their hands
- an element of creativity and artistic sense
- a caring, positive attitude
- a smart personal appearance and good personal hygiene
- punctuality and the ability to stay calm when under pressure
- stamina, as they are on their feet for most of the day
- a willingness to learn new techniques and keep their skills up to date
- an awareness of health and safety issues.
