We are looking to hire an exceptional Hair Stylist for one of our clients in Al Ain (A Beauty Spa for Ladies). To qualify for this position, you should have excellent English language skills with 2 to 5 years of experience in the same field.



To prevent and spread of infectious diseases, you need to ensure that your equipment and tools are sanitised and clean before the procedure and after the procedures.

Apart from your duties and responsibilities, you will take additional responsibilities as and when required by the Management. This may include accepting payments, answering the phone and schedule appointments, keeping the salon neat and tidy.

As part of the Spa team, you will play a very vital role in running the salon. Therefore, you are required to have excellent customer service skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Helps clients decide their ideal haircut and hairstyle.

• Completes haircutting techniques, including trims, layers, and texturizing.

• Performs hair-colouring methods, such as highlights, ombre, and balayage.

• Styles hair, including blowouts, curls, braids, ponytails, and updos.

• Upsells clients on products and services.

• Develops ongoing relationships with clients.

• Keeps a clean station and sanitizes all tools.

• Follows all salon policies and procedures.

• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions

• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers\xe2\x80\x99 face shapes and tastes

• Wash, rinse and dry clients\xe2\x80\x99 hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)

• Cut, trim and shave hair using professional equipment

• Apply a wide range of hair coloring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage

• Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns

• Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)

• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences

• Manage bookings and serve walk-ins

• Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed

• Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate

• Knows haircutting, hairstyling, and haircoloring best practices.

• Communicates clearly and has strong active listening skills.

• Builds long-term relationships with clients and has excellent social skills.

• Collaborates with other hair stylists and managers and is a team-player.

• Works confidently in a fast-paced salon, has good time-management skills, is punctual, and is detail oriented.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• An active cosmetology license.

• An active natural hair stylist license is preferred.

• Must have at least 2 years of hair stylist experience.
