Job Summary

The Tower Handyman is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and minor repair works within a high-rise tower to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted building operations. The role includes handling basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil works while responding promptly to residents' and management's maintenance requests.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out general maintenance and minor repairs within the tower. Perform basic electrical works such as replacing lights, switches, sockets, and fixtures. Handle plumbing tasks including fixing leaks, taps, flush tanks, and drainage issues. Conduct carpentry works such as door adjustments, locks, hinges, and cabinets. Perform minor civil works including tile fixing, grouting, patching, and painting touch-ups. Support HVAC technicians with basic tasks such as filter cleaning and vent checks. Attend maintenance complaints from residents or tenants promptly. Conduct routine inspections of common areas, apartments, and service rooms. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and building regulations. Maintain tools, equipment, and housekeeping of work areas. Report major defects or recurring issues to the supervisor or engineer.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum

2-3 years of experience

as a handyman in high-rise towers. Good knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and civil maintenance works. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physically fit and capable of working at heights when required. Good communication and customer service skills. Willing to work shifts, weekends, or on-call duties.

Preferred Qualifications

ITI / Trade Certificate in a maintenance-related field. Experience in residential or commercial towers in the UAE. Knowledge of FM operations and safety standards.

Working Conditions

On-site role in a high-rise residential or commercial tower. Rotational shifts as per building requirements. Requires interaction with residents and tenants.

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,200.00 per month
