Job Overview - Role and Responsibilities With the guidance of the Physician and/or the Registered Nurse, a Practical Nurse may provide medical care, such as dispensing medications, performing diagnostic tests, operating monitoring devices, assisting Physicians in treatment and treatment administration, and consulting with the healthcare team to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Providing toddler care, such as providing emotional support, physical comfort, and social interaction whenever needed. Recording medical information and maintaining accurate patient records. Communicating with parents to update them on their child's care, educate them on home care, and answer questions or direct them to medical staff who can answer their questions. Providing medical advice to toddlers, comforting restless children, and communicating with families. Ensuring care center environments remain safe and child friendly. Designing plans for child development and care, ensuring children are safe, happy, and stimulated, encouraging children's development through play, particularly during illnesses, and stimulating children with special and sensory needs. Meeting with parents to discuss their child's health and development. Performing administrative duties, such as supervising staff, coordinating activity programs for children, setting up the nursery's daily routine, and attending meetings.
Supports and promoting public health and parenting. Qualifications
BSc or completed a Diploma in Nursing MUST be Passer or License Holder of DOH/HAAD Assistant Nurse/Practical Nurse Experience
At least 1-2 Years of related experience as School Practical Nurse or Paediatric Practical Nurse At least 2-3 Years of related experience in Emergency Ward or Emergency Nurse
Certificates
MUST have BLS and ACLS Certificates valid for at least 6Mos, else, CME with 20Points MUST be PALS Certified
Skills and Behavioral Competencies:
Excellent Organizational and Communication skills. Interpersonal and Teamwork Skills. Knowledge of Basic Computer Software is a plus. Often perform and provided administrative tasks, such as updating students' medical records Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month Application Question(s):
